Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate!
2026 marks the Year of the Horse, and we’re celebrating with our Egg-Free Mango Mousse Cake. The mango curd on the top of the cake is bright yellow and almost golden, reminiscent of the Chinese gold sycees that symbolize wealth and prosperity. This cake is "not too sweet," making it perfect for those who prefer a more balanced dessert. It's also Kosher and Halal-certified!

Lunar New Year festivities can go on for up to 16 days. During this time, many will prioritize time together by traveling to pay respects to their elders, cooking, and eating elaborate meals - sharing traditional foods and customs. When you and your loved ones first see each other during this holiday, you'll likely greet them with wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity in the new year. Some you may recognize are 恭喜發財 (Gong Hei Fat Choy) - wishing you great happiness and prosperity, 新年快樂 (Sun Nin Fai Lok) - Happy New Year), and 身体健康 (Sun Tai Gin Hong) - wishing you great health.

2025 was the Year of the Snake which symbolized a year to shed and rid oneself of old habits and beliefs. After going through this transformation, you are now ready to move like the Horse in 2026 towards what will better serve you!
To help your Lunar New Year festivities flow, pick-up a La Rocca Cake at your local grocery store and you've got yourself a delicious dessert! La Rocca Creative Cakes wishes you and your loved ones great health, prosperity, and endless moments of joy as we welcome the Year of the Horse. May this year be as bold and delightful as our desserts.
